Questions The fine print
When does a day end?+
Each day closes at midnight UTC.
How is the price set?+
Each take sets the next price at 1.5 times what was paid. It then slides down to 1 USDG over an hour.
Who wins the Purse?+
The three players who held the Seat longest share it, 75% to first, 20% to second and 5% to third. Your time adds up across every time you held it that day. If two players have the same time, the one who got there first keeps the higher place. If fewer than three people held the Seat, the unclaimed shares roll into the next day that has takes.
What is in the Purse?+
60% of every take that day, plus anything rolled over.
Does the current holder's time count yet?+
It counts once someone else takes the Seat or the day ends. Until then the board shows it as live time.
Can I take the seat from myself?+
A holder cannot retake their own seat. Wait until someone else takes it.
Where does my message go?+
You pick one of 16 lines when you take the Seat, and it shows on the board while you hold it.
Do pauses count as held time?+
Pauses never add to anyone's held time.
What is slippage?+
Slippage protects your take when others take at the same time. Each take of slippage lets one more take land before yours and still go through. You only pay the actual price when your take lands.
What if the price moves before my take lands?+
If more takes land first than your slippage allows, your take fails and you pay nothing but gas. Add more slippage when the seat is busy.
